Twice each year we host the Student Showcase, a capstone event where students prepare a song of their choice and perform it in front of a live audience of family, friends, and fellow students.
The next Student Showcase will take place Sunday, June 9th, 2024.
$25 sign-up fee per student to be applied to monthly lesson charge.

Signing up
Q: Who can sign up for the Student Showcase?
This event is for Centre Music House students only.
Q: I only just started playing, can I still sign-up?
Yes, this event is open to all ages and playing levels. Even if you're just starting out, we encourage everyone to participate.
Q: I do lessons online. Can I sign-up?
Yes, if you're taking lesson online you are welcome to sign-up to perform in-person.
Q: How do I sign up for the Student Showcase?
Go to this form to sign up online.
Q: How many songs can I perform?
Students are limited to one song each.
Q: I take lessons on more than one instrument. Do I get to perform twice?
Yes, you’ve found the loophole! If you take lessons on multiple instruments, you may sign up to perform once on each.
Q: I’m not sure what song I want to do. Can I still sign up?
Yes. If you’re not sure what song you want to perform, you can sign up and put TBD as in “to be determined.”
Q: Is there a fee?
Yes, there is a $25 per student sign-up fee for the Showcase.
Q: How do I pay the fee?
We will add the sign-up fee to your monthly bill.
Q: I’ve signed-up, what now?
After signing up, it’s up to you and your teacher to pick a song and work together to help you get prepared for your performance.
Preparing
Q: How should I prepare?
The goal is to be able to play your song all the way through, without stopping, and to the best of your ability. There’s only one way to do that and it’s practice, practice, practice!
