Guitar Lessons
We have an excellent staff of guitar teachers and teach electric and acoustic guitar as well as electric bass. Style-wise we cover everything from classical to folk, jazz to rock. Many of our teachers are also active performers and can share that aspect of guitar with their students. With younger students we do strive learning to read music on the guitar. Guitar students typically start at age 8 and up. Depending on the older student's goals, the teachers will work on everthing from reading to theory to TAB and technique. Many adult recreational students are active at Centre Music House as well. Our studios are all amplifier-equipped. With some degree of proficiency, many of our guitar students take part in our Summer Band Adventures program and get to enjoy the experience of playing in a band.
